More Deception
Hitchcoc8 April 2017
People are revealing themselves. The FBI guys are falling over one another to screw things up. They are after Patty but why is it so important to them. Somebody is ticked. The handsome fellow that Ellen is so taken with is teaching her to use a gun. He is the partner of that scary murderer (third place in the Richard Dreyfuss look-alike contest). He's the guy who killed an associate in cold blood in the last episode. They have changed the focus to someone else. Ellen is starting to get confused. Katie is in play. The final scene with the Uncle is excellent. The question is whether he is an independent contractor or is betraying Patty. They toss those red herrings around like the guys at the Seattle fish market. Frobisher is now in the picture again. He has been threatened but seems to have found a new purpose.

Another amazing well written episode Warning: Spoilers
No wonder that my favorite episode from season 1, "Sort of Like a Family", was co-written with Jeremy Doner, the writer of this episode. Now I'm sure that Mark Fish (whom, in this season had written the best episode yet, "I Agree, ItWasn't Funny" - episode 2.05) and Jeremy Doner are the best in that writing room. At least, my favorites, in terms of depth of character and tingling twists and turns, along with amazing pieces of dialog that you can spend a lot of time thinking about it. The Uncle Pete element was so well balanced with Ellen's new lead and Byrne gives us amazing moments of despair using only her eyes, Tim Olhyphant approach is also so well put!
