Storyline

Three months after the Frobisher settlement, Patty is concentrating on establishing a charitable foundation when an old boy friend, named Daniel Purcell, contacts her and entangles her in a new case involving corporate fraud and greed. Meanwhile, Ellen continues working with the FBI to destroy Patty, but she becomes more rash and impatient as she continues to set up her appearances to hide her rage behind fabricated grief in the wake of David's murder. Elsewhere, Arthur Frobisher is revealed to have survived the assassination attempt and is recovering in seclusion as he plots his next move against all the people who he felt wronged him. Why Is the FBI So Involved?
6 April 2017 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

We enter and end this episode with Ellen talking to someone unseen. She does all the talking, then takes out a gun and fires it. In between, she continues to pursue the actions of Patty. Frobisher is in the hospital. Someone shot him and he is in really bad shape. I don't know exactly what happened. He begins by being contrite, but when he thinks his wife is coming to see him, he asks the orderly to make him look more pathetic. But it isn't his wife visiting him. Meanwhile, Patty is sent a box of evidence by a man she knew in the past. It is full of statistical information. She wants nothing to do with this guy (who is in grave danger because of some kind of whistle blowing thing). Patty is also courting a rich man to give money to her new foundation. There are a whole raft of loose ends here and we will see. Ellen is still convinced that Patty tried to have her killed, but there may be a fly in the ointment.
