I liked the ending, although it was a bit corny and simplistic considering the built-up. What bothered me the most was Joan Cusack's performance. She played the army corporale like you would in a kids movie. She was just all evil without any realistic motivations (any idea proposed to make money was good for her, and at the end she even found 'two goons' that had a ludicrous proposal she liked).
I felt it all collapsed by the end - unnecessarily - and I hope a third season, if there's going to be one, will get Sam back on the director's chair, even though the second season wasn't bad per se.
