Although performed in Britain by British musicians, the original American music by Lewis H. Redner for "O Little Town of Bethlehem" is used. In the UK, an arrangement of "Forest Green" by Ralph Vaughan Williams is the most commonly heard tune, but sometimes original music by H. Walford Davies is preferred for choirs. The lyrics by Phillips Brooks are also rearranged slightly.
After graduating from college in 1980 (Radcliffe College at Harvard University),Caroline Kennedy was hired as a Research Assistant in the Film and Television Department of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. She later became a "liaison officer between the museum staff and outside producers and directors shooting footage at the museum," helping coordinate "Carols For Christmas."
