Absolutely shocking. This episode is a far cry from the 50s show. Now we know the Jackie Gleason Show from the late 60s was more in time from that period and raised the bar a bit. This episode a good 3 yrs from those color episodes took the bar to a whole new level. This was a special but the chemistry was still there. Remember around this time you started to see shows like ALL IN THE FAMILY, MAUDE, MASH, SANFORD AND SON. Shows that told us there is no turning back. Well this special Honeymooners episode was a shock. Basically it was an episode about Housewives having their independence . OK simple enough . The shocking part was references to size of male anatomy, in innuendo of course, homosexuality, cross dressing, drug culture. If that isn't enough there were even references to our main characters sex lives. OK , not a big deal ... but bare in mind that the Honeymooners was basically a 50s show with all the innocence of a cute puppy, as were all the other shows from that era. That is why this special is so unbelievable. If you get a chance watch this .I promise you wont be disappointed.
