Hilariously Awful

This movie is honestly kind of amazing. The dwegons appear to have been intentionally designed to be ugly and I think they're still uglier than the animators meant them to be. Most of them have textures that look like a combination of spackle and used gum. By contrast, the humans all look textureless and unfinished except for their weirdly lavish metallic hair. The cat may be the single worst thing I've seen produced by modern CGI.

The actual plot involves dwegons being house-fairies to a family fixing up an old house to turn into an inn. That and exposition dumps about what dwegons are takes up about half the movie. Then jewel thieves show up, end up wandering into the dwegon world under the hotel, and release the "main" villain who is in a single ten minute fight scene which contains some of the most confusing editing I've ever seen.

This is a movie that is mostly made of barely related scenes that don't entirely make sense, terrible musical numbers, and donuts. I wouldn't recommend this movie unless you've got some friends who like to MST3K movies. It's probably perfect for that.

Good for Young Kids

This movie is a cute story about a father and son who fall on hard times and have to move with their granny to a decrepit home the father has inherited from his uncle in the hopes of remodeling the house into a sort of bed and breakfast. In so doing, they discover the centuries old friendship their family has enjoyed with the Dwegons- half dragon, half leprechauns, who make it their mission to help the Fitzgeralds. Enter 2 art thieves and some Russian mobsters, and the Fitzgeralds and Dwegons band together to try to overcome all the troubles that are coming their way. This movie doesn't seem to be designed for adults, but it wasn't too bad since I had it playing in the background during St. Patrick's Day activities. It does seem like younger children, keeping them under 6 or 7 years old, are more prone to enjoy it.

Absolutely hated it

Where do I even begin? -The animation is terrible and the characters lips don't even move with what they're saying.

-The bad guys are introduced within 10 minutes. They're Russian. And part of the mafia. And trying to steal a priceless jewel. How cliché can it be? -Later in the film, a NEW bad guy is introduced for no apparent reason -There are no leprechauns WHAT. SO. EVER. -The moving plot point is a family moving into their old relatives home who dies of a heart attack. Did I mention that this happens 7 MINUTES INTO THE MOVIE?!?!? The entire movie is just terrible, and shouldn't even be on Netflix. I don't understand how anyone in their right mind would ever give this a review higher than 1 star.

This movie raped my eyes

This is literally the worst movie I've ever seen in my life, I felt like my eyes were being raped for an hour and 37 minutes. The characters have the ugliest character designs known to man. Everything looks like playdough and slime. The story is generic and terrible. This movie has the worst editing in the history of movies. There is random musical numbers that are just generic rock/pop songs. If I watched this as a child, I would have nightmares for months. This movie is proof God doesn't exist.

Absolutely Captivating

What an utter cinematic triumph! Huzzah! Huzzah I say! I humbly dip my head to this glorious masterpiece! Where to even begin? The CGI is well beyond its time to the point where you almost believe you are in the world of Dwegons. The character development in this movie is unlike anything I've ever witnessed. I was moved beyond measure and thrilled beyond belief. What loveable little scamps this movie featured! How utterly enthralling! The lovely appearance of the main chaps delighted me and filled me with a passion unmatched even in comparison to the oh-so-sexy Patrick Bateman. 10/10 best movie I've seen this year, no, this decade!

Enchanting Delightful film perfect for Saint Patricks Day!!!

I recently was watching my autistic God child and his friends. They are normally a handful. It is a snowy icy day and I could not take the kids anywhere.

The children helped me to turn my dining room into a beautiful Saint Patrick's Day Decorative table.

They wanted to go to the movies and due to inclement weather had to stay in. We were looking for a net flick. We found Dwegons and Leprechauns and decided to give it a try.

The children were absolutely mesmerized. They LOVED the colors, The story and were asking me to rewind so that they could here the Cave Flyers Band over and Over.

They laughed and they were completely entertained. They loved the Donut Gun.

I am very Grateful to have found this wonderful Family Film Today!!!

This film will delight the young and the Young at Heart. It is a film about friendship, teamwork, love and the little Dwegon characters are so cute they are sure to steal your heart.

DWEGONLAND is so magical and colorful and a cool place for the kids in your life to visit.

SOPHIA SO DWEGON ROCKS!!!! She will leave you singing and dancing and craving donuts.

The beautiful musical score stays in your heart and mind. The memorable melody and words of Promise of the Rainbow delivers a message of hope light and encouragement.

I strongly recommend this film for your video library.

Literally my all time favorite movies, it cured my deppression. So glad i can have this movie in my life. Amazing story of an old man dying and some random family and their grandmother moving to his house, but little do they know they would be sharing it with Dwegons fun little creatures everybody loves! But when Russian Mobsters ruin their fun and show up with guns everything goes wild. Potatoes everywhere. I honestly almost cried so many times during this move but one part really got me. When they defeat Darrell and have a dance party. The sountrack is amazing too, my favorite song is, Guns in the underworld. Such a classic. Highly recommend this movie.
