Trivia
Ned's father's actions in this episode, mostly unseen, imply that he is aware of his son's gift, but the series was canceled before this could be followed up on or explained.

Goofs
When the Norwegian team finds the note Lily left for Dwight, the word "cemetery" is spelled correctly (close up of note). When the team shows that note to Vivian, it is spelled incorrectly "cemetary", and then spelled correctly again when Vivian shows the note to Lily.

Quotes
Emerson Cod:
Allow me to put this to you delicately. You see, men are dogs! They come, you know, sniffing around, barking up your tree, but if they don't see a kitty cat up in that tree, pretty soon they just stop barking.

In a huge change in the format of the series, no one was brought back from the dead for this episode! So, instead of investigating a new murder, this show was spent trying to hide the killing of evil Dwight in a prior episode. It seems that Aunt Vivian misses Dwight and thinks he was a wonderful guy. When she approached Emerson to look for Dwight, Emerson is blunt--telling her that Dwight was evil and it's not worth looking for him (since he is dead and buried). Not giving up, Vivian seeks the services of other detectives--some weirdos known as 'the Norwegians'. They actually are Norwegians--ex-Norwegian homicide cops who now are very determined private dicks.
When the Norwegians arrive, Olive seems taken with them and volunteers to help them. Frankly, I think she did this just to get the really cool jacket! Regardless, by the end of the show a hidden benefactor saves the day--but who is this helper and why?! We learn that despite Chuck's gut feeling, it's NOT her 'loving father'.
Once again, the show is well written and acted--plus a lot of fun, but no new deaths....what a shame!
