Quotes

Colonel Likkin: ...some carpetbaggin' coward snuck up behind, battered me in my own batter and shoved me into boilin' oil. That was murder, son.
Ned: Really? And you didn't see who did it?
Colonel Likkin: Attacked from behind. They were stealthy like a snake... or a Yankee.

Chuck breaks the rules...
28 May 2011 | by (Bradenton, Florida) – See all my reviews

The show begins with Ned and Chuck reviving Chuck's very dead father. This meant digging up his corpse of 20 years and asking him about that watch and why Dwight is so insanely intent on getting it. However, Chuck impulsively decides to keep her corpsey father alive and tricks Ned. Later, she realizes this isn't good as SOMEONE else had to die for him to live, but it turns out it's evil Dwight--so it's isn't all bad.

During the bulk of the episode, Olive and Ned are at a cooking contest. However, a participant dies and Ned revives Colonel Likkin long enough to realize he was murdered for this secret recipe. In a VERY nasty but funny bit, the Colonel begins tasting himself and appreciates what his chickens have always had to go through to make his chicken! Yuck...but funny. Can he solve this crime while remaining in the contest? Once Ned returns from the contest, he sees Charles Charles (Chuck's dad) and so ends this very strange episode.

Overall, a good episode, though it's a bit more gross than normal. I liked this and seeing Colonel Likkin chowing down on his now deep-fried arm was pretty amusing! Well worth seeing.
