The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • A man shoots another man twice in the chest. Blood sprays onto the wall behind, but it is unrealistic, and it is gone the next second because it was all in the main character's mind. The gun turns out to be fake.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • This is quite a disturbing film that deals with numerous issues such as insanity, suicide, the holocaust, murder, split personalities, etc. Most of the action takes place in an insane asylum, and there are many conversations that detail gruesome murders. The main character has several flashbacks pertaining to his time in the war. The twist at the end, when the main character's identity and back story are revealed, is very unsettling and will probably upset some viewers (as it has to do with young children being murdered by their mother).
