When I say jump, you will reply with "grraugh"!
This is the second-to-longest featurette on the Resurrected Edition DVD of Resident Evil: Apocalypse. It consists of behind the scenes footage from the "camp", all shot on hand-held and mostly of good quality, interviews with the crew(no cast members, much less any regulars, in this), and excerpts from The Undead Bible, read aloud and dramatized with clips from the film. They talk about making them be scarier than in the first, and I can't claim I think they succeeded, but that's neither here nor there. Then they say that it's difficult to make them scary, to which I reply that if you think so, you're doing it wrong. Enough about that. They clearly put a lot of effort into getting the zombies right, and they talk about the "rules" for this brand of them. We see a chilling example of an empty gaze, and we see as they practice how the physicality and mindset of these walking corpses work. This is fairly concise... it has a running time of 12 minutes, and it is very informational throughout, keeping a nice pace. We again see that they apparently did use make-up FX on them, so one *has* to wonder what the frame-cutting approach was all about. This doesn't say whose decision that was. There is blood and disturbing content in this. I recommend it to anyone interested in the subject. 7/10
