Drag Me to Hell (2009)
Raimi intended this to be a remake but could not secure the rights to the film. Instead, they kept many elements and rewrote the story. Elements kept: 3 day hex, the passing of an item to be rid the curse, the train station used for the ending, etc.
A demons shadow casted up a wall with its hand reaching out in Drag Me to Hell is the same way in which Count Orlok casts his shadow in the 1922 silent film Nosferatu
