Touching and Informative

So far season 3 its going very good and it got more intense and deep. Patient cases gets better and more interesting episode by episode, chemistry, acting and drama between characters got deeper, story of the secondary characters got more complicated and more meaningful and last 3 episodes with no doubt its among the best episode of the whole series.

David shore most definitely Its one of the most talented and creative writers and directors in tv and Im very much fan of his works. He did a very good job on House M.D and doing it again on The Good Doctor and If series goes on with this high standards and quality maybe in the future we can compare it to the masterpiece House m.d.

At the end I gotta say this, give the man his god damn golden globe already!!! Freddie highmore is beyond magnificent and his act its literally a acting class ...

S3.E11 - Carly or Lea? [9/10]

Warning: Spoilers
(S3. E11) My Live Reaction / Review for The Good Doctor Season 3 Episode 11 ''Fractured''. The previous episode was good and I gave it a rating of 9/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. Lea and Shaun slept together but they didn't have sex so it doesn't count as cheating. Its sad that this woman wont accept any drugs for her pain because she is an ex-addict. Shaun is destroying his relationship with Carly and it sucks and it is also unfair to Carly. I love how Dr. Glassman supports Shaun. Surgery without anesthesia, that's insane. Now Shaun will have to choose Lea or Carly? It seems like he chooses Carly, which is the best option for sure. Overall this episode was good and I enjoyed it. My rating is 9/10.

Not Casper Wyoming.

I lived in Casper for 20 years. The scenes shot in this episode are not in Casper!!!! I love hearing references to Casper just wish the footage would have been accurate. Great episode though.

Unreal

As an anaesthesiologist, I found this episode very unrealistic. It is easy to give an anaesthetic without opioids.. To subject that patient to painful surgery with no anaesthesia would be quite wrong in real life! An epidural anaesthetic could be ideal and continued for postoperative pain relief with no opoids at all.

Great Episode!
privategalender14 January 2020
This episode's medical case was an interesting (different) take on the addiction to Opioids issue that we are constantly (and irritatingly) hearing so much about. (It's a pet-peeve of mine that because 'some people' are predisposed to addiction and dying of overdoses, the rest of the world might suffer needlessly should they decide to pull these much needed painkillers off the market. Why the hell can't they figure out a blood test that will help determine if a patient carries whatever 'marker' predetermines they will become addicted to these things so that others don't have to suffer????) Anyway.... it's a slightly different take and fascinating if it is a 'real world' possibility.

But what made this episode great for me was where they took the story regarding Dr. Murphy's personal relationships. I really want to give spoilers, but I won't--if you are a fan of the good doctor, this isn't an episode you'll want to miss regarding the story arc with Shaun and his women.

Fractured? Maybe not.

Warning: Spoilers
This was my favourite episode of this season so far. The title was so well chosen. It's not just about physical fractures but mainly inside. Is Shaun fractured inside? Maybe not. He just needs to learn that pain, hurt, emotion is part of relationships. Part of the process. Is he fractured? Maybe not as mush.

A Tad Barbaric and inaccurate
drpinhi24 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I like how the fractured woman tried to work through the pain without narcotics... but to do surgery without any anesthesia is down right barbaric, and NO doctor in their right mind would have done that. There was no reason to move on without local or regional anesthesia blocks... (Ie., Lidocaine for immediate acting and Marcaine for long acting). It was misleading and horrible to watch more then it was touching.

Not the best episode because the view of addiction is so wrong
johnc-510 April 2020
You can be in addiction recovery and take medical opoids and it's a non event, assuming your recovery is real. This is nonsense. It's barbaric and it's not true. I guess that character didn't trust her sobriety. Also, you can be put under without addiction stimulating products.

Truly a terrible story line. I hated it. Otherwise, it was a solid episode. But that story caused this episode to drop from 9 to 5.

To stupid to be good

Warning: Spoilers
The "I can't take opiodes"- in this episode made me sick. What an awful way to describe addiction, and it also doesnt even come close to describe how adiction works, or painkillers in general.
