- The F.B.I. approach Joe Samuels about his illegal land purchases in Cuba under the guise of a Canadian property company. Joe tells them that it is Ellis that dealt with all deals and they should question her. Alex discovers that Frank has a serious gambling problem. After a fight with Frank, Alex gets Ramon's men to buy out Frank's bookie in exchange for Ramon and his crew taking over the transportation of Duque Rum. Henri becomes frustrated at not being able to succeed at winning Terry over and goes to Pancho for advice. Rebecca's bitter and estranged father, Gordon, visits the Duques and Jamie becomes incensed with the way he has treated Rebecca in the past. Frank and Ellis announce that they are a couple and go to dinner with Isabel and Alex. There Ellis is arrested and taken into FBI custody for her part in the illegal land deals. Later, Alex visits Ellis at her home and tells her to stay away from Isabel and Frank. Ellis reminds him of a time when he wanted to be close to her.—Anonymous
- Jaime gets a visit to the Duque mansion from his father in law Gordon King, who never supported Rebecca and seems obsessed by the family fortune. Having learned about theft by the delivery firms and Frank's excessive gambling debts, Alex resorts again to Ramon Fauro, whose men are to take over from both the transport firm and the bookie. Pancho is amused when womanizer Henry asks him for 'tips' to seduce his new blender Terry, who prefers less superficial gentleman like her friend Graham. Samuels is charged by the FBI with circumventing the Cuba embargo, but shifts all the blame to Ellis, who now openly dates Franco.—KGF Vissers
