Horror/porn failure

Warning: Spoilers
RIcky Greenwood has made many genre films in his porn career with varying results, but this attempt at a familiar "sleepaway camp" terror features goes nowhere. It has the usual four lengthy XXX lesbian scenes and little else.

Story structure doesn't help, with police detective Silvia Saige sifting through evidence in a cold case, mainly watching cell phone footage from two or three years earlier that we watch in that corny Blair Witch format.

A webcam scene dated 2016 presents Shyla Jennings and Gianna DIor making love, and we're told they disappeared afterward without a trace. This kills off half an hour at the beginning of the movie, okay for porn fans but delaying any story interest whatsoever.

Alexis Fawx is a college prof taking by van 4 co-eds to stay at the camp, among them Aidra Fox who is investigating the legend of a mysterious entity sighted there over the years. Ninth character is hitchhiker Abigail Mac, who they pick up and take to the camp with them.

Writer-director Greenwood frequently cheats on the camera work, with many a shot not part of the cell phone or other cameras carried by the characters, all the better to get the right angle to photograph sex. Nothing much happens, only sudden noises that scare the girls.

Horror-porn in softcore mainstream movies has become quite violent in recent decades, what with the success of meritricious hits in the Saw and Hostel series mode. Far more Thanatos than Eros!

RIcky is making a hardcore sex movie, so he scrupulously omits any violence at all, just a few shocking noises and some okay moments of frisson when we see a glimpse or two of a mysterious figure (I won't spoil the final such glimpse, which is ridiculously unbelievable -pure gimmick).

All-star cast is up to snuff in the cunnilingus and other sex acts department, but has little to no acting to do. They all disappear mysteriously, but Greenwood fails to stir up any interest in their plight.
