Its ok to pass time if you are a fan of this novel. However the last episode is a disaster. Overall, so-so, nothing interesting.

Just when I really start liking this they get rid of story lines, change characters. I liked young Zhang Wuji but in one episode they aged him a few years and changed the actor. The child actor was great and could display emotions well. As a child he was so smart. He was curing illnesses at like 10 Under Qui. Then all of a sudden he's some bummy wanderer. Sorry but as such an intelligent strong boy I expected more. Any ways the leader of the Emei and her one apprentice made me sick! Oh were all "we want to eliminate evil blah, blah and she was the worst of them all. Looking for any chance to kill people she wasn't worthy of her title. I still have quite a few episodes left but I'm really enjoying this.

For westerners, Louis Cha's wuxia stories, especially Condor Heroes Trilogy, are confusing. The same story retold in a 40 - 60 episodes limited run series. The heroes are the same, namely Guo Jing, Yang Guo, and Zhang Wuji.
Guo Jing represents everyday people who work hard but not the smartest. His wife, Huang Rong is very smart, making them a power couple in life.
Yang Guo represents rebellious and creative people. His wife Siaw Lung Nie (Little Dragon Girl) has life experience. They both respected but live a carefree life.
Zhang Wuji represents the leaders and smart people. Despite his hard work, he makes it look easy. His wife is also very smart and cunning.
This 2019 version is very well made and easy to love.

It's worth a watch.. started to watch this series just like that.. by the time you finished 3-4 episodes it will suck you into this..

Hidden Gem - One of the best C-Drama

Hidden gem for sure! This is one of my top 10 Asian tv shows. This is the best martial arts TV shows I have ever watched. Trust me, I have seen a lot of c & k dramas. The actors are amazing, the story is great. There is never a dull moment in any of the episodes I have seen. Please watch and rate this a 10. Anything below a 9 is outrageous. 10/10!

An epic story with power and depth

Just finished my second watching of this series. I liked it even more the second time. The first half of the series is a masterpiece. The second half was great but felt a little muddled in certain parts. There are subplots that feel a bit stretched out and tedious, but the show more than makes up for it with the fact that every character is interesting and a lot more than just the main characters have amazing story arcs.
This is one of Jin Yong's (the author of the books) great strengths, inventing a fascinating array of different characters that each take their own journey throughout the story. Rather than feeling like chess pieces used to tell a story, the characters go through changes, they evolve and they fail to evolve. There's a lot of amazing changes the large cast of characters go through. This was captured well in the series.
I gave it a 10, because I thought it was underrated on here. It's really a 9 because the second half wasn't executed as well as it could have been. But it is totally worth it to watch it all the way through and to be able to really appreciate it as a whole. Amazing story and amazing storytelling.

I think this is the best version of HSDSS.. 2009 episode 40 but this 2019 after 10 year 50 episode. 2019 men an women looks more attractive then 2009.. ice fire mountain look awful at 2009.. same situation yin susu die with his husband but wuji doesn't take revenge.. 2009 Mongol king just run after his daughter protect wuji but 2019 his been hit by arrow. Both ending is boring.. 2019 Wuju become king but doesn't name his succeed after his find zhoa Min.. 2009 they drink together 😆
