From nothing comes a king: Warner Bros. has today premiered the fantastical new trailer for King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword, Guy Ritchie’s star-studded medieval reboot that repackages Arthur and the Excalibur myth for a modern-day audience.
Thrusting former Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam into the title role, Legend of the Sword has been pitched as the “extreme” version of the famous English yarn, chronicling Arthur’s trajectory from the streets to the throne. If there’s one major hurdle standing in his way, it’s Jude Law’s (The Young Pope) Vortigern, a power-mongering tyrant who not only murdered Arthur’s parents in cold blood, but also stole made off with his crown. What follows is a rip-roaring quest for revenge, as Hunnam’s fearless leader begins to grapple with the spellbinding powers of Excalibur and, ultimately, stage a revolt against Vortigern and everything he represents.

Cardenas is set to play Angel Reyes, the brother of lead character Ez Reyes. Anegl is described as “a full patch member of the Mayans Mc, Santo Padre [who] lives with the burden of being the ‘lesser son’ in a proud Mexican family who loves few and trusts even fewer.”
The spinoff takes place on the California/Mexico border and will explore the inner workings of the Mayans Mc character through the eyes of Ez Reyes, a prospect who struggles with his desire for vengeance against the cartel as well as his need for respect from the women he loves.

There are some towns whose streets and byways you know almost as well as the back of your hand; you can picture them perfectly, whether it be in the calm stillness of a summer dawn or the frenzied onset of a coming storm. You’ve visited many times, perhaps over the span of several generations and watched with fascination as the passing of time left its mark. Avenues and roads stretch off in maddeningly unknowable directions, the alluring thrill of dark revelation lingering in each shadowed street.
It doesn’t exist, this town. Like Gotham City or Mos Eisley, it’s a work of fictive creation, birthed by the »
Editor’s Note: This story originally ran on Dec. 23. Hell or High Water currently counts four Oscar nominations including best picture and an original screenplay nod for Taylor Sheridan. After drug war noir Sicario made enormous waves at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival into last year's awards season, you could feel that Taylor Sheridan, a Sons of Anarchy actor-turned-scribe, was bound to repeat his success all over again with this year’s CBS Films/Lionsgate movie Hell or Hig… »

The Lost City Of Z review
James Gray follows up previous crime movies The Yards, We Own The Night and the previous Little Odessa, all of which were impressive in their own way, with this ambitious, yet involving period piece about the legendary British explorer Colonel Percy Fawcett who, in the early twentieth century, embarked on a series of journeys to find a mysterious lost city in the Amazon jungle.
Charlie Hunnam (Green Street, Sons Of Anarchy) leads the cast of this epic 140-minute motion picture that is reminiscent of movies made in an era a long ago. In The Lost City Of Z he plays the lead of Fawcett, an ambitious »

Adapted from David Grann’s 2009 book of the same name, The Lost City of Z sees the welcome return of director James Gray (The Immigrant) in a highly ambitious project. The film is a semi-biographical account in the life of legendary British explorer Percy Fawcett and follows his adventures in the uncharted Amazonian territories. Gray – a director well versed in the glory days of British cinema – pays homage to the films he loves as he takes his audience on an unrelenting journey in search of what Fawcett called the “City of Z”, an ancient settlement deep in the heart of the Amazon.
Set in the early part of the 20th century and within the realm of a soon to be defunct British empire, the film stars Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy, Pacific Rim) as Major Percy Fawcett, a lowly army officer belittled by his superiors and in need »
If you’re not feeling very romantic this Valentine’s Day, FX has a chocolate box full of showbiz spite for you.
The first full trailer for the much-anticipated Feud: Bette and Joan has arrived, with Oscar winners Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon playing Hollywood legends Joan Crawford and Bette Davis. And though the two old-school divas costarred together in 1962’s What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?, there wasn’t a lot of mutual admiration between them. As Catherine Zeta-Jones’ Olivia de Havilland puts it in the trailer, “for over half a century, they hated each other… and we loved them for it. »
Per Deadline, James Olmos has come on board to play the part of Felipe Reyes, a former Mexican patriarch who is now a shadow of his former self. Aiming to keep his life – and more importantly, his son – on the straight and narrow, Mayans MC will chronicle Reyes’ day-to-day struggles as he tries to stay on the right side of the law. And if the core SOA saga is any indication, such an endeavor will be much more difficult than it seems.
Co-created by Sutter and writing partner Elgin James (Little Birds), Mayans MC will largely revolve around Ez Reyes, a young prospect of the Mayan Motorcycle Club, based on the border between California and Mexico. Plotting vengeance against the cartel, FX »

If you created a TV show in a laboratory with the specific aim of winning a Best Actress Emmy… it’d probably look a lot like FX’s Feud: Bette and Joan. For better or worse.
The first season of Ryan Murphy’s new anthology series (debuting Sunday, March 5 at 10/9c) is an actor’s dream, letting Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon rip each other to shreds and chew up every bit of scenery as dueling Hollywood divas Joan Crawford and Bette Davis. Their performances are fantastic enough to live up to the lofty billing — and to overlook some of »

Charlie Hunnam has been quite busy over the past few years, but he's working on finding more of a balance in his life as he considers marriage and children in his future. The actor stars in two big movies out this Spring, The Lost City of Z and King Arthur, and he's been working steadily since he wrapped Sons of Anarchy in late 2014. Back in December, Charlie acknowledged that he cut off communication with his longtime girlfriend, Morgana McNelis, while filming The Lost City of Z, admitting that the move was a bit too method. He elaborated on the struggle to find a work-life balance in the latest issue of Total Film, which is out now. "I have an incredibly understanding girlfriend who is requiring more and more as we get older that I figure out a way to balance these things a little better," he said. "I've gotten off pretty easily so far, »
