Some of the female Mandrills need to be caught to they can be transported to Chester Zoo.
18 June 2008New keeper Hayley Jones has a bonding session with the Sea Lions. Keepers need to perform a DNA test on newly named baby Aardvark Kiyo, to work out what sex it is. To prepare elderly Orangutan Rajang for his move to his new enclosure, he is being trained to present his shoulder so he can be anaesthetised. This will reduce the stress on Rajang when it is time to move than having to dart him. The young Crowned Cranes need to be wormed and ringed.
