Late for Church (2007)

Matilda Elton tries, but the preparation it takes to get all ten kids out is more than she can handle. This Sunday seems no different, other than that it's her anniversary. Something special was in it for the whole family today.

A "real family" film!
11 October 2007 | by See all my reviews

WOW, Late for Church is definitely the breakaway family film of the year! It was one of the best Christian comedies ever made. The acting was cute, the cinematography was beautiful, the music touching and the message uplifting! The cast of the film Andrew David Beeman, Renee Knudsen, Daniel Knudsen and Laura Frahm had good screen chemistry. The on screen sibling rivalry between siblings Kyle and Ella was really cute to see. The little kids were so adorable! I personally felt, though, that most wonderful aspect of this film was the good family message. Although the message was not in your face, viewers can't help but come away with a greater desire to see families working together to achieve a common goal. A great film to watch with your family!
