This show had lots of promise. Don't trust the haters!!!
7 September 2009 | by (Ireland) – See all my reviews

The above comments are not an accurate appraisal of the show. The Roaring 20s was well written and well acted by a cast made up of some fantastic and exciting new talent. Some elements of the show did indeed fail - but all comedy pilots are rough around the edges - hence them being 'pilots'.

The Roaring 20s would have evolved and improved had it been given a full season. Both shows are now available on you tube and should be watched with an open mind. Critics in Ireland constantly argue that new talent is never given a chance by the national broadcaster --- the Roaring 20s may not be perfect but it was written, directed and acted by 100% new talent and proves once more that it's easy being a critic - and its exceptionally hard to be creatively successful.
