Interesting coincidence??? Or???

Warning: Spoilers
Am I the only one who was amused and/or bemused by the fact that Red John from The Mentalist is Dr. Bancroft the head of the Jeffersonian from Bones? Serial killer and big time machiavellian villain? When I first saw Xanders' face I practically got a chill down my spine...lol

He's called Gormogon

Though this episode isn't directly related to the cannibal serial killer, an intern killed at the Jeffersonian was working on the collection. They named the serial killer "Gormogon" which will be important to note in two upcoming episodes this season. I think of all the related story lines, this one is the eeriest for me - not because of the cannibal references, but because the ending of this story line is very, very tragic.

There is a scene at the end that shows up in a lot of the You Tube videos. When Brennan asks Booth if he'll betray him, he passionately answers her.

The whole Cam/Booth/sister thing was a bit amusing as well.

The best in Season 3?

Warning: Spoilers
Hi Bones Booth.

Greetings from across the pond. English Jan here.

I am the only one who wonders what experiment Zak was doing yesterday with a pig?

Dr B is very coldly assessing the victim x rays in the autopsy room when Cam announces that the female victim was dead before being thrown into the incinerator, but she doesn't bat an eyelid. Most humans would react to this piece of news, but not Dr B- that dam cold even for her.

Could I just take a moment here to say Eww! The sound effect when Dr B removes the head from the rest of the body. It makes my stomach flip every time I hear it.

Glad to see that Dr B returns to being human when she sees that Angela is upset about something.

I love the scene between Booth and Dr Bancroft where it is clear that Booth hates Bancroft on sight but tries only a little to hide it. - Brilliant acting Mr Boreanaz.

My question is, why oh why would you leave Bones to tell someone that their daughter has died?

I love the handcuffs camera work when Booth arrests Dr G. Excellent foreshadowing.

It's odd that Booth would go to Hodgins for relationship advice, or is that just me?

Be still my heart! The password guessing scene.

Daffodil, Daisy, Jupiter!

I love too the uncomfortable explaining about the sister kiss Booth and Cam scene. Pure bones, Magic.

But the best scene of all is the one in Booths office - "Are you going to betray me?" No. With no hesitation.

Hey Bones Booth Pod!

Warning: Spoilers
You should know by now Bones that Angela is great at her job and you shouldn't doubt her. Haha Booth knows all about what working with scientists is like Dr. Bancroft. How can you not atleast entertain the idea that Gormogon not gorgonzola may be involved considering what the victim was working on. What you said was logical Zack but very dumb. I agree from the outside Hodgins would be a good candidate for Gormogon albeit a bit obvious. Slow your roll Bancroft and leave Angela alone. You will definitely have a headache tomorrow Bones lol.

Solid Episode
Hitchcoc24 January 2023
Not much to say here. A pretty young intern whose father works in the scientific field, is dumped down an incinerator chute and barbecued. Time reveals that she was having an affair with an older man at the Jeffersonian. Possibilities abound but nothing solid comes up until near the end. The head of the place, a smug jerk, ends up hanged but the lead up is suspicious. Plus he is an incredibly arrogant guy who wouldn't want to leave the world where he was a king. But there is a kicker where the correct methods are used but the person targeted isn't the one. Bones and Booth have another one of those final moments.
