Storyline

Students at a make-out wood stumble over a recently dumped body, first shot and boiled. It's Franklin Curtis (54), founder of an organic supermarket chain. A pesticide indicates he met Andrew Harding, a tobacco farmer he tried to force into organic production, even flirting with his wife. Autopsy shows his skin melted with another. Meanwhile FBI psychoanalyst Sweets must examine if Booth can keep working with Bones after arresting her dad. A pineapple plant bug points to Virginia farmer Lyndon Page's hothouse, or the compost plant it uses. There works Charlie Rogan, who dated daughter Kat Curtis. The second corpse is found and identified as Emma Billings. Written by KGF Vissers

Goofs

Bones refers to Frank's shoulder Bones as scapuli, which translates to armpits in Latin. The appropriate word for the plural shoulder blades is scapulae, pronounced with a long a sound at the end, as in hay or way. A forensic anthropologist should know the proper term and pronunciation of this word. See more »

Introducing Lance Sweets!
18 July 2016 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Lance Sweets as joined the show and adds a lot to this series. He is not liked much at first, but over the years, he becomes close friends with Booth and Brennan. He has their relationship pegged from the very beginning. He must evaluate them to see if they should continue to work as partners. He's concerned with all the arguing they do, but by the end of the episode he learns that their relationship goes much deeper than they claim.

Booth and Brennan argue a bit in this episode, and we wouldn't want it any other way. It's their lively conversations that make this show - and their relationship - so great!

Welcome, Lance Sweets!
