‘Twin Peaks’ Star on Playing the Series’ Most Mysterious Character and That ’Thrilling’ Finale

4 September 2017 1:00 PM, PDT | Indiewire Television | See recent Indiewire Television news »

When Audrey Horne, one of the most popular “Twin Peaks” characters finally returned for the Showtime revival, fans were left with more questions than before. The scenes between Audrey (Sherilyn Fenn) and a man named Charlie (Clark Middleton) were baffling, claustrophobic and antagonistic, at the very least.

In the scenes that spanned four episodes, Audrey seemed obsessed with going to the Roadhouse to find her lover named Billy, but her husband Charlie preferred to stay in and finish his paperwork, since it’s late and he’s already sleepy. The bickering usually alternated between Audrey insulting Charlie and urging him to put on his coat in order to go out to the Roadhouse.

Gotham Casts Michael Cerveris As Professor Pyg

1 September 2017 9:55 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

While Gotham certainly hasn’t shied way from utilizing familiar villains such as the Penguin, Riddler and Mr. Freeze, I’ve found it quite refreshing to see them embrace those newer to the mythos like the Court of Owls. And while we’re certainly excited to see whatever a fully realized Scarecrow has in store for the Gcpd this fall, it’s hard not to squeal upon hearing that Professor Pyg will be showing up as well.

Yes, the very same guy who once gave Robin a lap dance in the comics will soon be introduced on the Batman prequel series. Originally created by Grant Morrison about a decade ago, the absolutely insane Lazlo Valentin went on to play a huge role in the books, especially during the days when Dick Grayson took up cape and cowl in the absence of Bruce Wayne. Suffice it to say, he’s become »

2.11 Backdoors

There seems to be a point in every season of a television show where I find my interest beginning to wander. It may not necessarily be the fault of the show, just a symptom of a wandering attention span. If a show is ten episodes, I'm usually fine; if a show stretches out to twelve or thirteen, somewhere near the middle or later in the order, I drift away. I've found myself drifting over the last couple of episodes of Preacher, »

Let’s get this out of the way up front: this was an exhilarating episode of Twin Peaks: The Return that gave me chills all over. How could it not be? David Lynch and Mark Frost finally gave us, after withholding it until the sixteenth hour, what we wanted. That said, I still believe this was a weaker episode than the previous one.
