ROYAL ANGELS - ON DUTY OF DEATH is yet another example of the mindless nonsense that IFD Film & Arts were so famed for putting out. This one follows the usual example of imitating a Hong Kong crime thriller - after all, ninja films had had their day by the 1990s - by cutting in scenes from an older, unrelated movie with new moments involving Caucasian actors delivering some of the worst performances ever. It's trite and highly boring, despite some action; the repetitive, bone-headed profanity is what particularly put me off enjoying this one.
