OK, so there were moments in The 7th Hunt that I found really creepy but mostly the murders or torture scenes were either unconvincing or absurd.
And one too many gaffes here which I don't even find in most mediocre movies I've viewed(believe me, I've seen hundreds of shoddy movies). In one scene, while The Hand is brutally bashing Ricky, one end of the cinematographer's camera comes into view! In another scene, we even see the shadow of a crew member while Callie and The Inquisitor are wrestling each other to the ground.
The story showcases 6 cold murderers or hunters. But they really need their heads examined! Because, they either pass up on the most easiest of opportunities to kill their victims or they mindlessly become sitting ducks to get killed.
And finally, the explanation given by the Sniper at the end on why he does what he does was also too much to stomach.
Regarding the acting, probably the best person here is Imogen Bailey as the deaf athlete Ariel. She was quite endearing in her mannerisms. Even Sarah Mawbey as the Inquisitor was good.
Verdict: Please don't hunt for this movie at your local store!
