SPOILER ALERT: Beware of Boussman's trademark editing techniques, they're bound to provide nausea due to their crappiness.
First things first, I already saw New Year's Day before tonight. Correction-- I saw it billions of times before tonight. This type of script has been done to death; these types of characters have been done to death; and these types of cheap scares have been done to death. Basically, this type of Horror outing has been done to death. Boussman should go and finish Repo instead of wasting his time with a crappy written Horror script like this one.
That hot chick from that dancing movie I didn't care to see has problems in this episode, much to my surprise. You know, the ones about loneliness, depression, and the like (the usual teen drama stuff). Its New Year's Eve and there is this big party! But she doesn't like parties. Too bad. She gets to the party eventually, because that HOT, dreamy guy that "knows" and "appreciates" her feelings is going to be there (OMGLOLZ)! But "complications" arise, and I'm still sitting in my cozy chair thinking-- why didn't this get picked up by MTV in the first place? Alas, there is a zombie outbreak and... not much else worth writing really. The script is bad. YOU can write a better script than this. Yes, YOU. Unless you like the Hillz of course.
The twist in this episode has to be seen to be believed. Talk about BAD. I encourage everyone to go and watch the Twist, just so that you can laugh at it.
To be fair, the beginning was very effective, up until the cheap scares started. And the acting wasn't atrocious.
I still wonder WHY I continue to tune in to Fear Itself. I don't even know anymore.
AVOID.
