The first "Jackass" film not to be endorsed by the Miller Brewing Company. The cast and crew refused to have alcohol on set to support Steve-O in his rehab process.
The intro to the movie was supposed to feature all the stars being hit in the head while being filmed with a super slow-mo camera, but Bam Margera could not participate after a woman assaulted him in the back of the head with a bat which caused internal bleeding. In the final intro, Margera is dressed up as a cupcake who gets hit on his body in slow motion and later using a paint ball gun.

Mike Judge created the segment before the film, featuring his characters Beavis and Butt-Head.
Bam Margera was hospitalized after suffering three broken ribs, a broken shoulder and a twisted ankle following one stunt. Loomis Fall also fractured his clavicle after a stunt involving an umbrella and a jet engine.
The film was released on the 10th anniversary of the Jackass television show.
