Beware Perilous Pearl.

Howard has decided it's time to get some wheels, and snaps up a hell of a deal from a widow, he picks up a River 45, but it has more than just mileage.

I am somewhat biased, as a huge fan of Howard and Marina, and it's that pair once again that shine through. It's fair to say the episode is really very average, but Howard and Marina do supply some laughs, the scene of the enraged husband was amusing.

A cracking episode for Pearl, which makes a nice change, not always the biggest supporter of her wayward husband, but here she comes to his rescue, well almost.

Definitely no new ground here, but there are a few moments you'll chuckle at, 6/10.

Variations on a Theme of Road Rage

Howard buys a second car from a widow. It belonged to her late husband. She wants shot of it and it's a bargain too good to pass up.

It means he will have more time with Marina.

Only thing is the husband is alive and was meant to collect the car later from his estranged wife who he has split up with.

The man gives chase, before long even the dozy policemen are chasing Howard accompanied by the tune to Z Cars.

Pearl comes to her own as she gives the man a bit of what for and a thud with her handbag. Only she gets to mess with Howard.

No wonder Marina kept out of the way.
