It's a pretty funny watch.

Barry and Glenda are searching for a squeak in the car, meanwhile Tom is convinced that Fred Astaire lookalike Smiler should answer an advertisement for a dance partner, efforts are made to snap the right look.

I've been a little critical of the last couple of episodes, but this one sees the series well and truly back on form, this was a fun watch. A funny overall idea, but some of the scenes really did make me laugh.

They knew how to make the most out of Smiler's appearance, he's so tall and gangly, I'm not sure a top hat is the best look.

A cracker of an episode for Marina, look at how supple the lovely Jean Ferguson was.

Howard's revelation, Smiler's dance and Pearl's criticism of Nora's stern appearance were very, very funny moments. Again though, I felt as though they had no idea what to do with Barry and Glenda.

Funny, 8/10.

Must Be Good Dancer

The lads decide that ad looking for a good dancer would be a good excuse for Smiler to dress up in top and tails.

However the lanky Smiler is not Fred Astaire. He also gets a walloping as he accidentally dances with Nora Batty.

It does spur on Howard to get dressed up as well in the hope he might attract a certain lady. He ends up getting the attention of the two dozy policemen.

Another average episode for the last years of the show. Barry driving around while Glenda looks for a squeak was well below par.
