Storyline

Because Booth arranged it, Bones visits her dad Max Keenan in jail, but shows him no sympathy. Dr. Jack Hodgins is excited by Special Agent Katherine Frost, but can't handle her potentially compromising proof. The fire-consumed body in an exploded car is identified as soccer mother Amy Nash. After reconstruction of the corpse they also found it to be an alias of June Harris, a member of Marxist US terrorist organization NLA, which supposedly directed its violent crimes against the military-economical complex. However, neither her husband Jeremy Nash, who learned only weeks earlier about her double identity, nor sheriff Sam Reilly, who handled a terrorist case against them for 30 years in vain, knew she had struck a plea bargain only days before. She was shot with bullets from the gun which was used in a terrorist attack which killed a cop, the father of young cop Danny Valenti. Special Agent Sam Reilly: You know, Booth, she must be really good in bed because I can't see any other reason you keep her around here.

Father/Daughter
18 July 2016 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This episode concentrates on trying to figure out why a soccer mom was blown up in her van. The story is interesting and involved a 30 year crime that was finally being put to rest.

Booth is also trying to get Brennan to have a relationship with her father. They argue over the fact a bit, but in the end, Brennan sees the errors of her ways and agrees, after a very sad conclusion to the case, that she needs to accept what her father is offering.

Booth celebrates by drinking way to much. As they sit outside looking at the Washington Monument, Booth drinks coffee trying to sober up. Like we've been seeing a lot of lately, Booth again makes physical contact with Brennan and she, of course, remains oblivious to what's happening in their relationship.
