Hmm... The effectively creepy teaser got me interested, especially since this aired here back-to-back with the previous episode. (Shouldn't that actually be "back-to-front"? Ah well, old Finnish phrases make as much sense as "back-to-back".) The previous episode was rather unengaging, but this grabs a hold of the viewer from the start. This is thanks to welcome appearances from veteran supporting actor Alan Ruck and the younger half (not yet of legal age in this episode, so keep your thoughts clean) of the adorable, talented and *impressively* intelligent Panabaker sisters (see their bios and trivia).

The previous episode was severely lacking of Jay Mohr, who makes a welcome return here. And the plot's actually quite good also, with a central idea that is too good to spoil here. Whoa! It just got even better! Hats off to the writers, but let's not get carried away - I, we, should have seen that coming. Anyhow, things get rather tense towards the end, although we have seen this kind of plot elements many many times before. It's the combination of the old elements with the new elements which make this episode stand out from most Ghost Whisperer episodes, which could, truth be told, use some more innovation. I mean, they have combined plots of what would normally probably be two average episodes into one really good episode! The final twist is almost brilliant (I say 'almost' because I've seen it before, so it's not like they innovated here). Also, we have some actual character development, which is long overdue. In the end, an episode worthy of its 8/10 average.

A haunted house?
xredgarnetx17 November 2007
Melinda must deal with a house that apparently is haunted, something she had never believed in before. Two ghosts occupying an old house take over the minds of whomever lives there, resulting in four sets of tenants in a mere 10 years. The current tenants are a father and young daughter. The mother has died tragically but her spirit is not yet settled. So Melinda has her hands full. Jay Mohr, who was absent from the previous episode, is on hand to provide a little help. The always-doubting Ms. Manheim is coming around as of this episode, after a verbal showdown with Melinda. A busy episode. No time for Melinda to show off her bust.

How could you kill the cat! It's my favorite tv series, but I hate creators ant writers that kills animals in their shows. Is it really necessary?
