Baber runs afoul of a little-known Muslim concept: the evil eye. Is his run of bad luck the will of God? Or his own fault? Meanwhile Rayyan lets her conscience run away with her after inadvertently stealing a chocolate bar from a convenience store. Written by Anonymous

After Amaar compliments Baber, Fatima thinks that Amaar has given Baber the evil eye. Baber thinks that is not the case until one bad thing after another starts happening to him. Baber ends up being a disaster zone, Fatima thinking the ultimate remedy being Baber humbling himself back down to Amaar's level, which may be a little too much to handle for Baber. Sarah is tired of being the middleman for the mayor's mail delivery system. To avoid that, Sarah proposes a system of file scoops be implemented in city hall to clear all the mayor's mail off her own desk. Ann reluctantly agrees. Sarah initially loves the new mail system, until she realizes that since she is no longer privy to the mayor's messages, she also no longer knows what's going on. Sarah does whatever she can to get back into the information loop at city hall. Rayyan, with half eaten chocolate bar in hand, realizes she has no money to pay for it. When Bradley, the store clerk, let's her off without paying, she inadvertently gets Bradley fired when the store manager finds out. Rayyan, feeling guilty about what she's done, tries to find another job for Bradley. Rayyan convinces Fatima to hire him. That is a mistake on Fatima and Rayyan's part as they end up finding out the real reason Bradley was fired from his previous job. Written by Huggo
