Not a good start to season 5

Oh yeah, I forgot Superman was part of the JLA, well darn, I guess I'll have to put up with more of "The Government's Errand Boy" for a few episodes. So in case you didn't know, I don't like Superman. He's the prime example to me of a character getting written into a corner. There's no suspense, there's no tension, he has no personality, everyone's stupid because they can't immediately figure out he's Clark Kent (at least Batman wears a mask), and every time he's introduced to Kryptonite, he always overcomes it. So as you might imagine, all of these negatives carry over to this episode. There's no suspense, there's no tension, Superman has no personality, everyone's stupid because they can't immediately figure out he's Clark Kent, and he's introduced to Kryptonite only to miraculously overcome it. At least the episode ends with Superman getting hypnotized, hopefully that means Bruce and Dick'll kick his butt in "Part 2".
