The German propaganda that the gang plays over the loudspeaker in their makeshift "sweatshop" is spoken by Glenn Howerton, the actor who plays Dennis.
Mac, Frank and Dennis tell Charlie and Dee to "make it work" while working in the sweatshop. This is in reference to the catchphrase of Tim Gunn in the Lifetime TV show Project Runway (2004), a reality show in which contestants compete through their fashion designs.
In the first scene where Charlie and Dee are trying on clothing, Charlie mistakenly calls Dee by her real name, "Kaitlin".
