Storyline
A reality show/competition centered around five celebrity singers who go back to their hometowns to assemble an amateur choir made up of everyday people. Once assembled, the choirs put on a series performances that are judged by viewers of the program, until a winner is picked. OK, the celebrities didn't really put it together, the professional choirmasters did. But the performances, though not perfect, were *very* good. The pit band was superb (kudos to the rhythm section and especially that tastefully hot bass player). The overall quality of the music was very high, with only a couple mediocre performances throughout the competition.
The lack of HDTV was a shame though. The audio quality was generally good, although several songs started with bad mixing and levels.
Everyone I know that watched enjoyed it very much and we hope it becomes a yearly event.
