Obviously produced by Hilton's PR firm

Warning: Spoilers
Any movie claiming to be a docudrama should be impartial in my eyes, yet watching this "movie" docudrama the only thing which comes to mind repeatedly is that this was made by/with Paris Hilton's PR firm because it is completely bogus. It sure tries to sugar-coat this heiress's behavior and minimize the impact of someone who flaunts the law entirely and plays the bimbo where appropriate. Piece of crap made in Canada with no-name Canadian actors. Avoid this if possible. As this has a ten line minimum i have to space this out as much as possible, so only thing i can think of is to criticize this more in-depth. The actress who plays Paris does as good a job as any who would be hired to portray such a two - dimensional character as Paris Hilton. Skip it.

So this is what a 5 dollar budget movie looks like

I watched the first twenty minutes of the movie and I wanted to blast it as high as possible just so, I would go deaf and wouldn't be able to hear it. The number one dumbest things on this movie is the storyline itself, it is pointless and stupid. The other stupidest thing ever would be the acting. It was AWFUL! Think Twilight, but worse. I mean how much worse can it get from there? The actors don't even look like the people they are representing in real life. Did the producers just go on the street and say, "Hey look a blonde person let's use her as Paris!" It would make sense along with the acting. I admit the movie was a little bit intriguing, but I think it's because the movie was so freaking dumb that made it that way. And yes I know I'm not a very good critic, but I know when a movie sucks and this one does. I wouldn't recommend this to my worse enemy.

Painful to watch

Having just gotten over a virus, I was beginning to feel better until I happened to catch this film on TV one night. Each minute of the film made me feel more ill, yet I kept watching, to see if the whole thing was as bad as the first few minutes of the film. It was.

Paris Hilton is portrayed as a shining star who is fawned over by her throngs of adoring fans; no one has to wonder whether or not she had a hand in the production of this masterpiece. Throughout it she shows herself as a misunderstood innocent victim surrounded by people who are placed in one of four categories: friends, fans, bullying authority figures, or the dregs of society. For every consequence that occurs as a result of her poor choices in life, the film struggles to frame as a horrible unfair misdeed against Hilton, the delicate misunderstood princess. However, this film is so poorly directed and acted that this fails, and any viewer with a functioning moral compass and brain instead finds themselves swooping between feelings of incredulous disgust and uncontrollable laughter.

Every actor in the film seems to be feeling the same way. The vast majority of acting is stiff, forced, insincere. I felt embarrassed for these actors in seeing them struggling through scenes, unable to show expression.

The music throughout the movie was fitting, in the sense that it matched the dismal acting, each track sounding not unlike the melody produced by pushing the demo button on a Casio keyboard.

As I watched, I could feel the edges of my IQ crumbling, and was afraid that I might come out significantly stupider if I made it through the entire movie. Thankfully, the effect was only temporary, but beware if you haven't seen it. This film is an intellectual vampire.

This is hands-down, without a doubt, the worst film I have ever seen.

Unintentional comedy gold

This film was very obviously produced by Hilton, or one of her friends. She comes off like a slightly less bubbly version of Elle Woods, in Legally Blonde. The whole film is about how she was supposedly unfairly treated by the media and the law. They try to play down the fact that she is a spoiled brat and notorious mean girl, who loves to party and snort cocaine. This awful film keeps trying to make it seem like she was just targeted for being rich and "beautiful". Everybody is just jealous of her. Suuurrrrre.

intriguing

though dull and dragging, at times, endless nightclubbing scenes, etc. was effective in presenting the possibility she was unfairly railroaded by media and legal fanatics. Reveals an upbeat ending, of a young person learning to mature, grow up, accept responsibility, and her path, in spite of the notoriety she in part attracted to herself. Thumbs up, entertaining study of, growing up, learning what life is about. Freedom to choose. It's not clear to me why a review requires 10 lines. Isn't brevity perhaps more effective in expressing an idea? Like the difference between a long boring movie and a shorter impactive one. Anyone else?
