ADVENTURES OF THE FALCON "Small Hotel" 1954

This is the 35th episode of the 39 episode run of the 1954 to 1956 series, ADVENTURES OF THE FALCON. Film noir icon Charles McGraw headlines as Mike Waring, an agent of the U.S. Government. The series follows McGraw as he travels the world putting the kibosh on various criminals and foreign agents. The series is loosely based on the FALCON series of films of the 1940's.

The U.S. Government is after some info on some gangland big-wigs. McGraw is sent to a meeting at a hotel in Detroit. He books in several days ahead of the meeting to get the lay of the land. On the day of the meeting, he finds that all the hotel staff are new. He feels that something is amiss. He heads out to grab a cop he saw outside.

The next thing McGraw knows he is on the floor of his room with the dead body of the informant. The room is also crawling with Police. The Detective in charge has seen McGraw's id and knows he is a G-Man. McGraw lays out what he knows about the informant and such. He wants to get to the bottom of the deal.

He roots around and tracks down the various people involved. There is a problem though. They are all dead when he finds them. He lucks out when he grabs up the female involved, Angela Greene. She uses her as bait to lure is the killer. Needless to say the moron falls for the ploy and is gobbled up by McGraw.

This one is by far the weakest of the episodes so far. It is not one I would watch a second time. Nothing is explained about the list McGraw is to pick up etc.
