Two rich big-shots are murdered within hours. Are they related? The
first is a rapist-gone free by the courts guy (which is probably based
on a famous case in New York City) who is stabbed like a matador would
kill a bull. The only suspect is the woman the raped had raped six
months earlier. She sure looks and acts guilty, a real vengeful woman.
The second is a woman shot on the steps of a museum around six o'clock in the morning. It appears she had a gun out ready to shoot someone when they turned the tables on her, killing her with her own gun.
The main problem is figuring out the entrance and exit wounds on the body. They seem to contradict themselves so the CSI guys can't quite figure out what angle in which the victim was shot. They seem to think that's the key to the case.
The one thing that stands out in this episode is the exaggerated arrogance of the suspect. An arrogant suspect is par for the course among CSI shows, but the ones in this episode are over-the-top. I doubt anyone would be this smug - anybody. It was almost laughable.....and there were three of them: two women and one man.
One disturbing note: "Mac" has to give "Stella" the facts of life about true justice. As a veteran law enforcement officer, it's pretty sad she apparently doesn't know right from wrong.
