Storyline

Earp arrives to take the job as Dodge City Marshal finding a man already digging his grave. As he receives his star from the Mayor, he learns the Ford County Sheriff and his deputy are under siege at the railroad depot by the Big T outfit. However, Earp's first action is to take on the men on Front Street trying to kill him. After wounding several, he turns his attention to the siege. He has the Mayor ask saloon owner Dog Kelly for some men to help but it takes Earp to convince Kelly to help. They dynamite the cow pens holding the Big T cattle forcing them to break the siege to gather their cattle. Earp then sends word for the leader of the Big T outfit Gus Andrews to surrender by 5:00 pm or Earp will come after him. At 5:00 pm Earp along with Sheriff Bassett and his Deputy Tillman ride out to take Andrews. When the gang tries to fight, two of the men are killed by Bassett and Tillman while Andrews is wounded by Earp. Earp has started to make his point about law and order. Written by Anonymous
