Storyline

In the story Kyle Callaghan falls heir to his grandfathers life-long quest and travels to central Mexico to find the Aztec's most prized possession, Caferi. The fabled coffee-like drink was said to allow "visions of truth to the living and sight through the eyes of the dead." While in a zombie-like state the ancient storytellers were able to see the imaginations of the people they spoke to. Caferi was a secret window to another world used only by the high priests of the day. That is until it was stolen and consumed by Quetzemoc, a covetous Aztec warrior who was not prepared for the visions to come nor the consequence of his act. A short with feature length feel!
5 February 2008 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

A zombie film that doesn't conform! *I added "spoiler" warning just in case that gives away a little bit.

This film definitely has originality in so many aspects, I can hardly wait to find out what happens after the short's ever-so-teasing and fun ending!

Despite knowing some of those involved, I can honestly give a whole-hearted thumbs up in the seamlessness of the plot and the professional feature length feel, complimented with top notch acting!

I was going to start listing the parts I really enjoyed, but I had nearly half the movie typed up!
