This show inspires me to try new things in design. She really listens to her clients wants and needs. She really does an amazing job at bringing out each family's trueness through each design element.

To see a designer and show on HGTV that doesn't decorate the same iteration of gray boxes over and over and over. Grace's spaces have warmth, personality and meaning. This is my favorite show and I'll be crushed if they don't bring it back.
Amazing!!!

Cringe Factor 9000

If the show host wasn't attractive, this would have never been on TV. I have never seen such ridiculous design in my life. I honestly thought it was a joke at first. Kelly green kitchen cabinets, spoons all over walls in a room... I think the show producers are just seeing how many people they can get to watch this nightmare. Utterly nuts.
The "Pimp My Ride" of Houses

It's like the host hitches on to one thing the couple/family likes and creates weird design elements around it that are not only tacky looking, but that most of the time they can't take with them if they move, and will affect resale desirability. (Industrial gluing glass plates to brick walls, cars built in to walls, gingham bright wallpaper on the walls and ceilings, hot gluing spoons to walls and ceilings) It's just weird and cringe.
The host herself is the saving grace because, even with her odd design choices, she's very likable.
If you need something mindless and to question others' tastes- it'll work.
