Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Just after Ted runs into Trudy at the bar, he says to her that he would have called her after "The Pineapple Incident", but was too embarrassed. In "The Pineapple Incident", he tells his kids that he did phone, but she did not return his calls.
