This was the first time I could recall (I'm probably wrong) seeing anyone in Alexx's family.Apparently she's married to a guy named "Henry: and she has two kids. The boy, "Brian," is the one featured in this episode.
It's not a bad story but it's not good, either. It's interesting to see Alexx's reactions to this nightmare of having her kid accused of being involved in criminal activity. The not-so-good part is that you know what the "verdict" will be and the writers go PC-ballistic on us again, which isn't a surprise to me but still a letdown.
Just once - once - I would like to see an ending that isn't politically correct. Just one time! Note: I'm adding this after watching the season finale. It appears this was the last show for the above-mentioned "Dr. Alexx Wooods," the medical examiner who has been on every show for the full six years. Apparently, she quit the show. That's a real loss for CSI: Miami.
