A man who was near his car talking on his cellphone is run over by a
speeding car, totally breaking his legs and killing him. Leads
eventually get the CSI workers to his wife and daughter as suspects,
along with a girlfriend named "Tiffany." Shortly thereafter, in another
part of town, a man is assassinated at an outdoor restaurant. Natalie
Boa Vista recognizes him as a man she just saw on TV. He is a child
That's what the story is about as someone is eliminating child predators from the Internet. Also, there is another predator that is not discovered until the very end.
I won't give specifics away but this is a typical CSI episode in which we see, let's say, four suspects early on, each brought into the office, quickly questioned, and then let go. One by one, each are suspected a second time and you sometimes can figure the mystery in the last few minutes by who hasn't made their second appearance.....which is exactly what happens here. I wish the writers of these show would change that format more often because it's getting old.....even if the stories are still fresh.
By the way, I used to criticize Eva La Rue's character Natalie Boa Vista but I have to say that this year has been a total turnaround for her: no personal problems, just does her job and does it well. That, and softer looks with less makeup, make her look prettier and nicer than ever. Even fellow CSI worker Ryan Wolfe (Jonathan Togo) is less obnoxious, too! What's going on here? All the good guys are actually acting like good guys, for a change.
