A strong episode.

It's funny how two cases always spring up at The Lyell at the same time, for Leo it's a case where a young boy is tragically found dead, for Nikki, it's a dead Priest.

It's an interesting episode, made at a time where the BBC acknowledged that despite us being one nation, there are cultural differences between within our communities, Leo is drawn into such a world, believing the unfortunate young boy was part of a muti ritual.

Quite a dark story, it's pretty bleak in all areas, fortunately Harry added a bit of humour, when he joked about the man being four timed.

Steve Toussaint is excellent as The Pastor, a wall of charisma, he's excellent. Always good to see Diana Kent.

It's a strong, imaginative, pretty daring episode, 8/10.

Ritual or Profit?

The mutilated and dismembered body of a child is discovered. He is probably about six years old and seems to be from an African country. Investigation finds that in some countries, there are ritual killings where body parts of young boys are used for medicinal purposes (and other things beyond that). Soon, a second body is found and a pattern is developed. Nikki is investigating the apparent suicide of a priest, who supposedly leaped from the top of a church.
