The Shack Trailer Takes Sam Worthington on a Mysterious Journey

Sam Worthington returns to the big screen as mourning father and husband trying to find his way in the first trailer for The Shack, hitting theaters March 3, 2017. This drama will have some heavy competition when it hits theaters, going up against 20th Century Fox's superhero adventure Logan, starring Hugh Jackman and Open Road Films' drama Before I Fall starring Zoey Deutch. This uplifting drama could become a box office hit, providing some counter-programming for those who aren't into superheroes and teen thrillers.

Along with the trailer, Lionsgate has also debuted the first poster for The Shack, which features stars Sam Worthington and Oscar-winning actress Octavia Spencer. When Octavia Spencer first joined this adaptation of William P. Young's novel last March, it was revealed that she is actually playing God, and while her character's identity isn't exactly revealed in the trailer, it's quite clear that there is something very special about her character, »

Jason Mewes talks ‘Bling’ and ‘Mallrats 2’

When was the last time you saw a movie about jewellery and robots? The answer to that unusual question is something Google Play are banking on for Bling, the first animated film to be distributed via the platform. Best of all it’s free!

Concerning the calamity that ensues when a hopeful man’s engagement surprise is mistakenly acquired by a supervillain, it features attention-grabbing elements such as positronic primate Kit, voiced by Jay and Silent Bob star Jason Mewes.

Putting on our best suit, and with our best inquiries boxed up and ready to be sprung, we took Mr Mewes to the nearest restaurant in the hope he’d accept our proposal. Along the way we couldn’t help but talk about his most famous role and working with friend and quietest Bob in history Kevin Smith for the past couple of decades…

We spoke to actor and frequent Kevin Smith collaborator Jason Mewes about his new movies Bling, Yoga Hosers, MallBrats and Clerks III

Clerks is one of the movies that made me love movies, and so it was with more pre-interview nerves than usual that I waited on hold to connect with Jay actor Jason Mewes via a crackly international phone-line.

We were due to talk about the animated movie Bling - in which Mewes voices a robot monkey called Kit, who shirks his responsibilities as a theme park employee to help the main character (voiced by Taylor Kitsch) take down a super villain and propose to his girlfriend – but the memory of all the nights I’ve spent chuckling away to Jay and Silent Bob’s antics had put some serious fear into me.
