Storyline

The shows opens with Ernie in his scout uniform and he tries to explain its benefits with Eric doing the best to stop him. Kenny Ball and His Jazzmen perform 'Fanlight Fanny', followed by the Noseblowers sketch. Eric and Ernie are having a disagreement over the electric blanket when this week's guest Richard Greene arrives to find out about this week's play. The Pattersons perform 'Try a Little Kindness'. Eric makes a pocket transistor radio. Nana Mouskouri & The Athenians perform 'Day is Done'. Ernie's play of the show is called 'The Lost Valley' and Richard Greene stars as the pilot of the plane that crashes into the lost valley in the Himalayas. Written by jem
