Stop General Benjamin Juma
14 September 2012 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

After an argument in an alley, Marika and Dubaku head to the airport. Moss rescinds the arrest warrant, allowing Jack and Renee to close in on Dubaku; Marika causes an accident to prevent Dubaku from escaping. Marika dies, but Dubaku provides Jack with a disc containing the database of co-conspirators. Moss and Chloe begin analyzing the disk, but Sean and his accomplice, Erika, wipe the servers to erase it. Sean kills Erika and wounds himself to cover up his involvement; however, Chloe recovers the database via a mirrored server, and Sean is arrested. When Allison returns from the hospital, Buchanan asks her to consider Jack's case in Mayer's hearings. Afterward, Olivia and Allison share a bitter reunion. Tony informs Jack of an imminent attack at the hands of Dubaku's boss, General Benjamin Juma, and that someone on Mayer's staff is involved. The President summons Mayer to the White House to discuss Jack; Mayer's chief of staff, Ryan Burnett, is notified that Juma's operation is on schedule.

In summary, here the events that happened during that hour:

1.Colonel Iké Dubaku prepares to leave the country and threatens Ryan Burnett with revealing the names of everyone helping him if he was caught. Dubaku's girlfriend, Marika Donoso agrees to meet with him so

2.Jack and Renee can track him. During the pursuit, she causes a crash and Dubaku ends up critically injured. Before being taken to the hospital, Jack retrieves a memory stick from under his ribcage and informs Larry Moss about it.

3.FBI Agent Renee Walker has to tell Rosa Donoso that her sister, Marika, didn't survive the pursuit, and she blasts Renee for not protecting her. Emotionally stricken by Marika's death, Renee berates Jack for not showing emotions, and slaps him as she breaks down crying.

4.President Allison Taylor thanks Bill Buchanan for all his help during the day. He takes the moment to vouch for Jack Bauer's dismissal from Senator Blaine Mayer's hearings. Meanwhile, Mayer prepares to meet with the President and asks his Chief of Staff Ryan Burnett to go with him.

5.Jack Bauer meets with Tony Almeida, who informs him of the imminent attack that will follow. He also tells him that Burnett has information about the attack. While Burnett is getting ready to leave, he receives a message notifying him that the attack is about to begin.

The violence continues in this episode after the FBI mole - Sean Hillinger - his track to Dubako and kills his fellow mole,Erika in the process. But still,Sean gets captured and is in custody with the authorities.

Also,we get to see another dramatic scene between President Taylor and her estranged daughter,Olivia after they talk for the first time in many months.Aside from that,we also see Renee slaps Jack for not showing any emotions when they tell Rosa that her sister,Marika has been killed in their pursuit of Dubaku.

Now,Jack and Tony have identified that they will be up against not only Dubako but against his boss General Benjamin Juma, who is planning an imminent attack from Sangala. They have to stop him fast after the President assumes that he is capable of doing that job.

Things are moving fast in Day 7.
