James Woods Rushes to Obama’s Defense on Twitter
Is it Opposite Day again already? Or is James Woods the latest famous victim of a social media hack? “Once Upon a Time in America” star and noted Hollywood conservative Woods found himself in an extremely rare situation on Tuesday: Taking to Twitter and actually defending President Obama. In a jarring turnaround from his usual stance on the Leader of the Free World, Woods actually rushed to Obama’s aid, notifying the Secret Service to a potential threat to the president. Lucifer Review: Lucifer does good deeds. His immortality returns.

This week’s episode of Lucifer seems to be some kind of role reversal of sorts or Opposite Day as Lucifer put it. Our favourite Devil tries his hand at doing good deeds while helping to solve a homicide while Detective Decker takes a brief stroll to the Dark Side. Lucifer’s attempts at doing good deeds and feeling that rush through his veins made me want to shake my head. He actually gave that homeless guy the shirt off his back and apparently, his pants as well. Lucifer, it’s just a figure of speech! You don’t have to take it so literally!

‘The View’ Host Whoopi Goldberg Mocks Mitt Romney Over Trump Diss: ‘Why Am I Listening to You?’
Apparently it was Opposite Day at “The View” on Thursday, as host Whoopi Goldberg found herself defending Republican candidate Donald Trump. Or, at least, trashing one of Trump’s detractors. Goldberg went off on former Gop presidential nominee Mitt Romney after Romney trashed Trump as a “phony” and a “fraud.” The “View” panel noted that Romney had previously accepted Trump’s endorsement, so Goldberg opined that Romney really isn’t one to talk about other politicians’ rhetoric. • TMZ
It must be Opposite Day ... because Kanye West wasn't just cordial with a bunch of paparazzi in Hollywood moments ago, he was downright nice.Ye was picking up a friend in his murdered-out Lambo when he turned to address the photogs in pursuit ... not with a fist, But With A Smile. He gave the guys a friendly heads up that he'd be driving all the way to Anaheim today. Movie News Quick Hits: Pauly Shore and French Stewart in an Awe-inspiring Trailer
Filed under: Trailers and Clips, Movie News, Cinematical

- Gawker picked up this photo of what John Cusack looks like as Edgar Allen Poe in James McTeigue's 'The Raven.' He actually fits the part, at least visually, quite nicely.

- Katherine Heigl has left 'Adaline,' a film that would have found her playing a car crash victim who is brought back to life by a lightning bolt only to discover that she has been "physiologically trapped in her late 20s." Who will replace her is unknown at this time, but Angela Lansbury is still expected to be playing the character's daughter. Yes, you read that correctly.

- The extremely brutal French horror film 'Martyrs' will be getting an American remake from 'The Last Exorcism' director Daniel Stamm. If that idea already sets you on edge, this quote from Stamm probably won't help any: "The American approach

Exclusive: Pauly Shore Takes Us Toddler Shopping in Adopted

The popular stand-up comic leaves Hollywood for Africa in this hilarious DVD out June 15th

Pauly Shore has weased through his fair share of ups and downs as a Hollywood celebrity over the course of the past two decades. After a string of moderately successful comedies in the early 90s, the stand-up comic seemed destined for obscurity and life as a nothing more than a Trivial Pursuit question. Restless and tired of waiting for that comeback phone call to come in, Pauly put it all on the line by faking his own death, and then recounting the consequences in 2004's Pauly Shore is Dead. Self-financed and produced Diy-style, Shore created an instant cult classic and found a new life for himself in front of the camera. Which has led to a fan favorite stint on the popular HBO series Entourage and a lead role in the upcoming Disney film Opposite Day.

WWE’s Triple H is ‘The Chaperone’

WWE Studios have announced the leading role debut of one of the biggest names in the WWE, Triple H. The wrestler, real name Paul Levesque, will join Kevin Corrigan, Ariel Winter and Annabeth Gish (one of my all-time favourite actresses), in the upcoming comedy, The Chaperone.

Triple H will play ex-con Ray Bradstone, a former getaway driver determined to turn his life around and establish a relationship with his estranged daughter Sally, in the film directed by Stephen Herek (Critters, Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead, The Mighty Ducks).

I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m pretty interested to see The Chaperone. For one, Triple H can do comedy and action – we’ve seen that in the WWE; two it also stars Annabeth Gish; and three, it’s directed by Stephen Herek – who has made some damn fine comedies over the years.
