It is based on the popular Videogame with the same name. This is an OVA Series that was originally supposed to contain 4 Pieces, each 33 minutes long. It was recently revealed that it would be expanded to 8 episodes, and then 12, in order to cover the entire (relevant) storyline. Episodes 1-4 covered the Sylvarant arc, episodes 5-8 would continue into the Tethe'alla story, and episodes 9-12 would finish the series by featuring the unification of the worlds and the defeat of Mithos. moreFAQ
