Storyline

London. An ordinary city, with one small difference: superheroes - commonly called 'capes' - exist. But apart from their powers, they're ordinary people, with the same problems the rest of us have. They spend much of their downtime in the basement bar The Fortress ('superheroes only: no masks, no powers, no heroics') but when not there or on duty they garden, go shopping, and do the laundry just like everyone else. No Heroics focuses on four friends and the trials and tribulations of their lives, but these superheroes are at best B-listers, and constantly insulted and bullied by the arrogant Devlin - Excelsor, the most successful cape of his generation. Super heroes everyday life
15 February 2015 | by (Denmark) – See all my reviews

British comedy is sometimes quite black and weird, but I like it, they have a tendency to reverse how things are normally perceived and then make a lot of fun out of it.

This is in many ways fun, super heroes living in full public and some of them being not so super or heroic as you might think they should be. It does become juvenile and full of bad clichés, that is most likely why it only had a short number of episodes.

I think they could have done a lot more with this and made some really nice hero comedy, but it was on a too narrow scale to make it really interesting and the super heroes that was the main characters was not fitting well together, they were not a good group together, but each their personality was great on its own.
